'WC' No. 70, 'Elizabeth II', Bewdley, 28th September 2022
Rebuilt Bulleid 'West Country' Class 4-6-2 No. 34027 'Taw Valley' was repainted into Royal Platinum Jubilee Purple livery, renumbered to No. 70 and renamed 'Elizabeth II' to mark the late HM The Queen's seventieth anniversay of her accession to the throne in June 2022. Now carrying a wreath on the smokebox door and with the addition of the dates 1926 - 2022 to the now black background nameplates, the loco stands out of steam in the sidings at Bewdley station on the Severn Valley Railway at 17:07½ on Wednesday 28th September 2022.
