4270, Cheltenham Race Course, 21st September 2021
GWR 42xx Class 2-8-0T No. 4270 has uncoupled from its train, the 10:00 from Toddington, at Cheltenham Race Course station, Platform 1, and is reversing to the water column to replenish its tanks. It will then run round the train to form the 11:00 to Broadway. 10:46¾, Tuesday 21st September 2021. The photo is taken from the normally inaccessible Platform 2, but I was given permission and escorted across the track to get this shot. Digital Image No. IGMP58540.
