Sunday 5th January 1964 was a very dull day at Willesden MPD, but many engines were stabled there. BR Standard "Britannia" 4-6-2 No. 70025 "Western Star", allocated to Crewe North MPD (5A), was amongst them, along with an unidentified "Royal Scot" 4-6-0 behind it and the almost maroon liveried tender of 46240 "City of Coventry" is alongside. The steam breakdown crane just edges into the picture on the extreme left. Slide No. 484.
