A quiet month to start off with but then spent a couple of days in the Ipswich area to give a presentation to the RCTS Ipswich Branch, where I was made very welcome and looked after very well, including a session on the GE main line on the Tuesday morning. I then spent some time in Whitby and on the NYMR for parts of the Steam Gala. A few shots to get things under way...

755 415, Brantham, 5Q01, 10th September 2019
The new order on the Greater Anglia GEML are the Stadler FLIRT (Fast Light Intercity & Regional Train) BMUs (Bi-Mode Multiple Units) of Class 755/3 and 755/4 undergoing testing and crew training, though a few units have entered service. There are also the Class 745 EMUs under construction. No. 755 415 is seen heading south at Brantham with 5Q01, the 08:29 working from Norwich Crown Point Depot to Colchester Up Passenger Loop, in weak sunshine at 09:27¾ on Tuesday 10th September 2019.
