Having become the first steam-hauled train to use the new through line southbound at Princes Risborough earlier in the day, 5043 "Earl of Mount Edgcumbe" was the first to use the line northbound as well. Here, it is slowly drawing into the station area on the centre road where it was held for a non-stop Chiltern service to overtake it on the platform line. The train is 1Z47, 16:15 from Marylebone to Birmingham Moor Street, the return working of the private charter to mark Adrian Shooter's forthcoming retirement. The seven vehicle train includes the GUV water carrier behind the tender and 47773 was on the rear. 17:05, Saturday 29th October 2011. Digital Image No. GMPI10479.
