Ffestiniog Railway. 1963/04/20. One of the George England 0-4-0STT engines is dumped in Glan-y-Mor yard on the seaward side of Boston Lodge works and shed across "The Cob" from Porthmadog. It has the name "Mountaineer" scrawled in chalk, but was this its actual identity? Photo taken in utterly foul conditions during a visit by the participants in the "FR Society Special" from Paddington to Porthmadog, Saturday 20th April 1963. It is in fact "Welsh Pony"! Slide No. 25.
