Fairbourne Railway. 1966/08/xx. Fairbourne Railway 2-6-2T No. 20 "Tracy-Jo" was in fact a steam outline diesel, built by Guest Engineering in 1964 for the Dudley Zoo Railway and used on the Fairbourne line between 1964 and 1966. It was named after the daughter of the builder and is here departing from Fairbourne station on its way to the Barmouth Ferry station. It was later rebuilt as a "real" steam engine and became a 2-6-4T which now runs as "Wroxham Broad" on the Bure Valley Railway in Norfolk. Photo taken in August 1966. Slide No. 2415.
