New Additions!
As there are now quite a large number of photos on the site, it is becoming difficult to find newly added shots to established collections, so in future I will add new shots here for a few days before transferring them to their relevant collections. Newly added collections will continue as before - I hope that makes sense!

ÖBB No. 97.204, Präbichl, 26th January 1973
Austria. Präbichl station is the summit of the Erzbergbahn (Iron Mountain Railway) line and more or less on the level, so no rack was required within the station area. 97.204 is leading a fully loaded train out of the station and has to work hard to get it on the move, along with a sister engine on the rear. The start of the rack section down to Vordernberg Markt is just out of teh bottom of teh picture, once on the rack it will be a case of holding the train in check! Alongside is rack diesel No. 2085.01 and a small PW railcar plus 0-6-2RT No. 97.2xx. Friday 26th January 1973. Slide No. 10832.
