As there are now quite a large number of photos on the site, it is becoming difficult to find newly added shots to established collections, so in future I will add new shots here for a few days before transferring them to their relevant collections. Newly added collections will continue as before - I hope that makes sense!

DB No. 044 270-7, Prinzenkopf, 6th April 1971
Germany. Seen from amongst the vines high up on the hillside, Class 044 2-10-0 No. 044 270-7 slogs away up the grade at Prinzenkopf, having just come through the tunnel after crossing the bridge over the Mosel at Bullay, as it makes its way towards Trier along the Pundericher Hangviadukt. Tuesday 6th April 1971. Some of the heavier freight trains were banked along this section from Bullay. Slide No. 6518.
