DR No. 52 1146-1, Elsterwerda, 25th June 1974
“Kriegslok” Class 52 2-10-0 No. 52 1146-1 is at the head of a freight train passing a level-crossing near Elsterwerda with an eastbound working towards Hoyerswerda at 08:00, Tuesday 25th June 1974. Elsterwerda was on the main north – south line from Berlin to Dresden, but there was also a line running west to east from Falkenberg through Ruhland to Hoyerswerda, this is the line this train is on.
