New Additions!
As there are now quite a large number of photos on the site, it is becoming difficult to find newly added shots to established collections, so in future I will add new shots here for a few days before transferring them to their relevant collections. Newly added collections will continue as before - I hope that makes sense!

NCB Hunslet No. 1506, Bowes, 5th August 1965
British Industrial Systems. Springwell Bank Foot shed yard on the Bowes Railway was host to several engines on Thursday 5th August 1965, though none was in steam, this being a holiday period! This was NCB No. 6 Area "B" Group as painted on the engine's tankside and this engine was Area No. 26. It is still carrying its Bowes No. 15, however, and is in Springwell's livery of black with red lining. It is 0-6-0T (IC), Hunslet No. 1506 of 1930. The engine in front of it is carrying both its numbers, Bowes No. 14 and Area No. 25. Slide No. 1566.
