ETW-5, Trossingen, 2nd May 1974
Trossingen station is some four Kms away from the town and is connected by a short electrified private branch line, the Trossinger Eisenbahn, opened in 1898. Here, four wheeled DC electric railcar No. T5 (built by Maschinenfabrik Esslingen in 1956) heads for the town having connected with the train just departed for Villingen, on Thursday 2nd May 1974. The line is no longer electrified and no longer carries freight - there is a small museum at Trossingen Stadt where the tracks are still electrified. Slide No. 12835.
