As there are now quite a large number of photos on the site, it is becoming difficult to find newly added shots to established collections, so in future I will add new shots here for a few days before transferring them to their relevant collections. Newly added collections will continue as before - I hope that makes sense!

SAR No. 1768, Butterworth, 29th August 1972
South Africa. In a dramatic against the light shot, Class 14CRB 4-8-2 No. 1768 (Montreal, 1981) is on the top level of the coaling stage at Butterworth, together with the tubs to tip coal into engine tenders on the tracks below, as another engine approaches to be coaled. Tuesday 29th August 1972. Slide No. 9380.
