New Additions!
As there are now quite a large number of photos on the site, it is becoming difficult to find newly added shots to established collections, so in future I will add new shots here for a few days before transferring them to their relevant collections. Newly added collections will continue as before - I hope that makes sense!

Leave the cursor still for a couple of seconds and the various "tools" disappear until the cursor is moved again. Exit from that screen back to this screen via the "X" in the top right.

SAR NGG16-139, Mbedela, 28th August 1972
We now proceeded to chase the morning freight up from Ixopo to Donnybrook, headed by NGG16 No. 139, here the train is departing from a wayside “station” (Mbedela?) with some other wagons parked in the sidings. No. 139 blasting away furiously to get its loaded train on the move again. Monday 28th August 1972. Slide No. 9312.
