No. 298.53, Garsten, 27th January 1973
At Garsten, the Steyrtalbahn (760mm gauge) had its station adjoining the standard gauge lines which are electrified. Krauss 0-6-2T No. 298.53 approaches the narrow gauge station from the sidings, to form the 13:15 departure to Molln, the limit of passenger train operations. Several well wrapped-up passengers were waiting for it to stop. Saturday 27th January 1973. Slide No. 10901.
