70805, Princes Risborough, 6C31, 7th May 2014
Colas 70805 comes into Platform 2 at Princes Risborough station with 6C31, the 20:25 from Bescot to Claydon L&NE Junction, with 70803 on the other end, running on time. This was an engineering train with a Kirow crane and wagons of concrete sleepers for upgrade work on the line from Bicester to Oxford. The train reversed here and departed for Aylesbury around 28 minutes late, the first time that Class 70s have been there - though due to problems with one of the locos the train was 100 minutes late by then... 23:40, Wednesday 7th May 2014.
