With the southern end of the WCML into Euston closed for engineering work in the Watford area over the May Bank Holiday weekend, Chiltern Railways ran extra services and lengthened trains on the Birmingham route and this included more loco-hauled sets than normal. The so-called "Banbury Set" (AL05) of slam door blue/grey liveried coaches ran one round trip to Birmingham on Saturday 3rd May 2014 and two round trips the following day - it is not normally seen north of Banbury and is generally only in use during the morning and evening peak. Here, ATW liveried DVT No. 82306 has led the set into Marylebone station with 5H22, the 09:00 ECS from Wembley LMD at 09:13½ to form 1G20, the 09:36 from Marylebone to Birmingham Snow Hill with 67023 on the country end.
