Seen from Dawlish, GWR "Castle" Class 4-6-0 No. 5029 "Nunney Castle" is between Parson's Tunnel and Clerk's Tunnel with 1Z48, "The Anniversary Limited", 16:34 from Plymouth to Bristol Temple Meads, running just a few minutes late at 17:35¾ on Friday 9th May 2014. The anniversary in question is 50 years since the Ian Allan Special Z48 ran with several "Castle" Class engines with high speed timings on 9th May 1964, itself an anniversary of "City of Truro's" alleged 100mph run in 1904.
