Banbury North Signal Box, 29th July 2016
Banbury North Signal Box managed to retain many of its original GWR features right up until closure - including the distinctive roof vents. This was its last day of operation and its associated signalling and trackwork - all to be replaced during the blockade imposed after the last train on Friday 29th July 2016. Chiltern 168 110 passes by with a southbound working - 1H44, the 12:12 from Birmingham Snow Hill to Marylebone at 13:03. Digital Image No. IGMP20297.
