There had been a sprinkling of snow overnight and in the early morning, but by this time the sun had melted most of it, though there was a perishing breeze! DBC No. 66097 is approaching Haddenham & Thame Parkway Station with 6V01, the 11:07 empty stone train from Oxford Banbury Road Sidings to Acton Yard, running dead on time. 1R25, the 11:10 from Marylebone to Birmingham Moor Street, also running on time, has just passed in the opposite direction with an unidentified Class 68 leading and DVT 82305 on the rear. 11:47, Friday 13th January 2017.
