DB No. 001 173-4, Schiefe Ebene, April 1972
The light had not improved the following day as unrebuilt 001 173-4 slogged its way up the gradient with another train bound for Hof, this is N2819, the 11:31 from Lichtenfels local passenger, winding through the woods on the 1 in 40 and making plenty of noise about it on a Tuesday in April 1972.
