As I did not know this was running, I was not in the ideal position to get a shot! A special of some sort, it consisted of three sleeping-cars at the front of the train, then six restaurant-cars followed by another three sleeping-cars, all in DSG livery (Deutsche Schlafwagen und Speisewagen Gesellschaft). The train is heading north out of Ulm passing the north signalbox, double-headed by what looks like one of the old 118 class electrics and a class 110. Quite a train! Saturday 9th May 1970.
