DR No. 99 1741-0, Kurort Oybin, 13th September 1971
One of the DR 750mm gauge standard 2-10-2Ts, No. 99 1741-0, built between 1928 and 1933, has just arrived at Kurort Oybin bang on time at 10:14. This was train 13, the 09:25 from Zittau via the junction station at Bertsdorf from where another branch ran to Kurort Jonsdorf. These branches terminated very close to the Czechoslovak border (as it was then) and are popular mountain resorts. Monday 13th September 1971. The lines are still open and still steam operated!
