Brighton Belle, Brighton, March 1972
March 1972, and the "Brighton Belle" EMU Pullman train is formed of two 5-BEL units, Nos. 3053 and 3052, as it awaits departure time at Brighton station, about to work up to Victoria station in London. The service did not have much longer to run and its BR Blue and Grey livery looks as though it has seen better days, and is certainly no match for the original Pullman Chocolate & Cream livery! All the coaches from the three 5-BEL sets survive, some of them in use with VSOE. Slide No. 8051.
