82036, Dursley, 21st July 1963
82036 has now reached the end of the branch at Dursley and is about to be uncoupled from the train to run round before returning to Coaley Junction. Tour participants explore the goods yard area, the passenger station being behind the camera position. The line was opened in September 1856 by the Dursley & Midland Junction Railway, passenger traffic was withdrawn from 10th September 1962, freight continuing to 1966 on a regular basis and occasional until 1968. After that the line became a private siding to the Lister factory, which surrounded the terminus, until 1970, when a road accident severed the line.
