Due to a signalling failure in the area, trains were being held at each signal for some time and a queue had built up. Having been held at the previous signal for around 30 minutes, 6024 "King Edward I" moved forward to this signal just east of Shrivenham and was held for another eight minutes before getting the road. It then made a volcanic start with the 13 coaches of 1Z29, "The Cathedrals Express" from Paddington to Bristol. 12:58, Sunday 12th February 2012. Digital Image No. GMPI11040.
