The unusual sight of 6M23 in Aylesbury North Loop at 07:00 on Friday 14th June 2013, just as the crew arrive. This was actually Thursday evening's working which had left Calvert for Cricklewood on time with 66547 in charge of the empty "binliner". However, 56312 failed at Aylesbury whilst working 6Z81 at around 19:10, so there was nowhere for this train to go. Apparently, 66547 was eventually used to rescue 56312 and its train and take it to Claydon loop where it remained overnight. 66547 returned to its train and perhaps with the crew now out of hours the loco was shut down and remained overnight. The loco was started up soon after this shot was taken and the train eventually departed at 07:55... 56312 was later towed with its train from Claydon to Willesden by 56091.
