Cambrian Coast Lines
Having shut off steam for the station stop at Fairbourne, the safety valves of No. 82006 have lifted as it approaches the station. It is at the head of the 16:05 train from Pwllheli to Machynlleth, where it reversed and continued to Aberystwyth, Wednesday 29th July 1964. The engine has only recently been outshopped from Swindon Works and is carrying plain green livery. The track in the foreground led to the disused goods yard, though there was a Camping Coach stationed here. Slide No. 889.
