GWR 4-6-0s Nos. 4965 "Rood Ashton Hall" and 5043 "Earl of Mount Edgcumbe" are double heading 1Z45, "The Coronation Express", Tyseley Warwick Road to Didcot via Cheltenham and Swindon. They have just passed the site of Wantage Road station and have opened up for the final stretch to Didcot, running some ten minutes early at 11:44 on Saturday 2nd April 2011. The train was run in conjunction with the public launch of restored 6023 "King Edward II" at Didcot Railway Centre. Photo taken from a public footpath across the line. Digital Image No. GMPI8468.
