LMS Stanier "Princess Coronation" Class 4-6-2 No. 46229 "Duchess of Hamilton" stands in the centre road at Carlisle Citadel station alongside an unidentified "Peak" Class 45 diesel. The "Duchess" was about to work a southbound "Cumbrian Mountain Express" over the Settle & Carlisle line as far as Hellifield, Saturday 8th November 1980.
