British Industrial Systems
As steam traction was run down on BR lines, so interest in industrial systems rose. There were many places around the country with a wealth of ancient and modern machines still hard at work in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Stewarts & Lloyds No. 21, Corby Steel, 10th August 1962
Stewarts & Lloyds 0-6-0ST No. 21 (Hawthorn Leslie No. 3931 of 1938) is shunting fully laden slag ladle wagons around the yard at the Corby steelworks, seen from the Rockingham Road bridge, the Midland main line via Melton Mowbray over to the left. Friday 10th August 1962. B&W Neg No. 122.
