BLS Wycombe Wanderer
The Branch Line Society ran another of their wonderful tours on Saturday 13th August 2016, the "Wycombe Wanderer", in conjunction with Chiltern Railways, Network Rail and London Underground. The tour raised a considerable sum for the chosen charities - the Railway Children, the Brain Tumour Charity and Home Start, through the fare box, on board raffle and auction. The train started from Marylebone and ran to High Wycombe via various loops and sidings, including LUL's West Ruislip depot. Then on to Oxford Parkway and the Banbury Road stone terminal sidings via the MoD reception sidings at Bicester before returning to Marylebone. Once again, I was privileged to go along as "official photographer" to record the event. As usual, a few shots to start, many more to follow...

165 029, Wycombe Wanderer, Bicester North Engineers' Siding, 13th August 2016
The BLS "Wycombe Wamderer" tour had reversed again at Bicester South Junction to reach Bicester North station. Making another reversal there the train has now reached the end of line in the Bicester North Engineers' Siding, 165 029 standing just short of the bufferstop as there was a stop sign a few feet from the stopblocks. From here, the train made its way back to Bicester North station and then revesred again to make its way back to Marylebone. 17:31¾, Saturday 13th August 2016.
