BLS Woodhorn Narrow Gauge Railway, 23rd February 2019

The Branch Line Society arranged a visit to the Woodhorn Colliery Museum Railway, near Ashington, on the evening of Saturday 23rd February 2019, after a day of training at the North Tyneside Steam Railway. This is a two foot gauge, mile long line, from the Woodhorn Colliery site to Lakeside Halt in thee Queen Elizabeth II Park. Many thanks to the staff for making the group so welcome, as well as going the extra mile for us (well, the extra few feet that make all the difference!).
