Another very special day out with the Branch Line Society in conjunction with West Coast Railways, Nemesis Rail and Network Rail, raising funds for the Rethink Mental Illness charity. BLS "Sunday Yicker", 31128, Crewe CET Siding, 9th June 2019
Running as 1Z28, 09:32 from Crewe to Ashton in Makerfield KS, the first leg of the BLS "Sunday Yicker" tour was southwards to a reversal at Stone. From there, the train retraced its steps to Crewe to reverse once again in the Crewe CET Sidings (EMU Stabling Siding) where the train is seen during a short layover before returning to the station for another reversal. 31128 lead the train from Stone with 37668 on the rear. 11:45¼, Sunday 9th June 2019.
