BLS "Marching Crompton II", PoV 47851, Limpley Stoke, 23rd March 2019
As the BLS "Marching Crompton II" tour heads towards Bradford-on-Avon, this is the view from the rear cab of 47851 as the train passes the remains of Limpley Stoke station, now a private property. The station was opened in February 1857, closed to goods traffic in January 1960 and to passengers from 3rd October 1966. It was the junction station for the Camerton & Limpley Stoke line, parts of which were used in the filming of "The Titfield Thunderbolt". 10:39, Saturday 23rd March 2019. Digital Image No. IGMP45527.
