During the first day of the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway's annual steam gala, one of the original two 0-6-0T locos built for the line in 1902 by Beyer, Peacock, running as GWR No. 823 "The Countess" (though its nameplate is simply "Countess") arrrives into Llanfair Caereinion station. Its train consists of the Pickering coaches and is the 12:30 departure from Welshpool Raven Square.
