On Monday 8th August 2011, 1H08, the 06:53 from Banbury to Marylebone, was unusually formed of one of the Chiltern silver sets rather than the normal "Hybrid" set, due to various untoward events the previous Friday. Passengers board at Princes Risborough and the train departed on time at 07:30, unfortunately failing at Saunderton due to a loss of coolant via a faulty heat exchanger, causing the loco to shut down. Fortuitously, the train was able to coast downhill to High Wycombe where passengers could be detrained and other trains get round the casualty, albeit with consequent delays.
