66112 & 66077, Park Mill Farm, 6M48, 15th April 2014
On Tuesday 15th April 2014, 6M48, the 09:39 from Acton Yard to Calvert loaded spoil train, was unusually worked by double-headed 66s, with 66112 leading 66077. This was in order to get 66112 to Calvert to form 0Z60, a route-learning turn from Calvert to Claydon L&NE Junction, Bicester Eastern Perimeter, return to Claydon and Aylesbury. This in conjunction with driver training for the upcoming diversion of the Didcot to Bicester COD train via Hanwell, Greenford, High Wycombe, Aylesbury and Claydon. The move was originally scheduled for the previous day and the route-learning loco was intended to be a Class 60... The train is approaching Park Mill Farm foot-crossing just out of Princes Risborough on the single line to Aylesbury. 11:13, Tuesday 15th April 2014. Digital Image No. IGMP3243.
