Having stopped earlier for a while at Charbridge Lane level-crossing, 56312 stopped again at Bicester London Road level-crossing for a short wait before continuing through Bicester Town station, still a few minutes early at 11:58. It is working 6Z91, the 10:55 empty fly ash train from Calvert to Didcot Power Station on Friday 2nd November 2012. Digital Image No. GMPI12805.
GBRf 66715 "Valour" has just left the main line at Princes Risborough and is now on the branch to Aylesbury, about to pass the foot-crossing at Park Mill Farm. It is working 6M48 from Thorney Mill to Calvert with a trainload of spoil in well-loaded MLA wagons. This train runs MFO, as required, for the time being. 11:34, Monday 5th November 2012. Running around twenty minutes late, DCR 56312 is passing Banbury Road stone terminal at Water Eaton, North Oxford, with 6Z91, the 10:55 empty flyash train from Calvert to Didcot Power Station. Work is likely to commence here soon for the new Chiltern Water Eaton Parkway station as part of the Evergreen Three upgrade for Marylebone to Oxford services. 12:41, Tuesday 6th November 2012. Royal Class 67 No. 67005 "Queen's Messenger" is approaching Islip station in fortuitous glorious sunlight as it works 6A48, the 14:16 trip working from MoD Bicester to Didcot Yard, normally a Class 66 working. 14:40, Wednesday 7th November 2012. Seen from the footpath leading to the foot-crossing over the railway just east of Wantage Road, Freightliner 66571 is eastbound with 4L31, the 09:03 from Bristol FLT to Felixstowe working. 10:27, Thursday 8th November 2012. Digital Image No. GMPI12857.
